Me, on a bridge in Italy.  The town on the other side of the bridge is known for its pottery and its dried porcini mushrooms--naturally, I had purchased both by the time I came back across it!

As a fifth grader, I wrote a paper about my chosen expertise: loving cinnamon. So I guess it shouldn’t be shocking that, as an adult, I want to be a food writer.

A native Chicagoan, I strive to answer that eternal question: What’s for dinner?
